With the Logster Lite, you can turn your trees and fallen branches into valuable timber in the shape of boards and planks. You can use any chainsaw with a standard guide bar. The bar fits into the bar clamps so no drilling is required. Depth of cut can be set at any  depth from 0-12" using the clamps on each side of the frame.  There is a chain guard on the end where the bar tip protrudes for safety. This is a simple, well designed, robust device which should  give you many years of service.
 
The mills come Hot Dip Galvanised which is much more durable than paint. It coats the metal inside and out and will last for many years.

It is very easy to  cut planks or beams. Just run the sawmill down a ladder or a 6"x2" which has been fixed to the log to get a flat top edge, and then you  can start to make your planks and beams.
 
We  would recommend that you hold at the least a basic chainsaw qualification so that you understand the safe use of a chainsaw. It is of course imperative that you use all of the relevant PPE. You  are responsible for your own health and safety whilst using this  sawmill
 
The  chainsaw in the pictures is for demonstration purposes only and obviously is not included. You will need to drill 2 x 6mm holes to mount the handle in a location of your choice.​
